Program Structure

The program follows an annual cycle divided into indoor and outdoor seasons, with six mesocycles:
  • 00ADAP: Adaptation Phase
  • 01INTRO: Introductory Phase

  • 04SPEC: Special Phase
  • 05COMP: Competitive Phase
The training normally follows a 2+1 model: two weeks of training followed by one recovery week. This ensures smooth transitions between cycles, performance testing, and continuous development.

Microcycle Structure

  • 5 Training Days per Week: Includes 3 track sessions and 2 strength training sessions, adapted to fit your daily schedule.
  • Flexible Scheduling: Key sessions are prioritized at the start of the week, and the program can be adjusted as needed.

Tools Required

Our minimalist approach means no expensive equipment is required. Just the basics, which are easy to find:
